Car
If you are driving, start by entering '15652 Bluff Rd, Sandy, OR 97055' into your GPS or mapping app. From Portland, take I-84 E and then merge onto US-26 E toward Mt. Hood. Continue on US-26 E until you reach Sandy. Take the exit toward Sandy, and then turn left onto Bluff Rd. Follow Bluff Rd for about 0.5 miles, and you will see the Jonsrud Viewpoint parking area on your left. Parking is free.
Public Transportation
To reach Jonsrud Viewpoint via public transportation, take the TriMet MAX Light Rail Blue Line from downtown Portland to the Gresham City Hall station. Transfer to the 84 bus towards Sandy and ride until you reach the Sandy Transit Center. From there, you will need to call a local taxi service or rideshare option (like Uber or Lyft) to cover the remaining 3 miles to Jonsrud Viewpoint, as public transportation does not reach the viewpoint directly.
