Car
If you are driving, start from the nearest major road, Highway 26. Head east on Highway 26 towards Mount Hood. After about 20 miles, you will reach the junction with Highway 35. Turn left onto Highway 35 and continue for approximately 5 miles. Look for signs for Little Zigzag Falls on the right. Turn onto Little Zigzag Falls Road (Forest Road 2630). Follow this road for about 1 mile until you reach the parking area for the falls. Note that there may be a parking fee, so be prepared with cash or a credit card.

Public Transportation
Public transportation options are limited in the Mount Hood area. However, you can take the Mount Hood Express bus from Government Camp or Sandy. Check the schedule and routes on the Mount Hood Express website. Once you reach the Timberline Lodge stop, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to get to Little Zigzag Falls, which is roughly 10 miles away. Be sure to plan ahead as rideshare availability may vary.

If you are already in the vicinity and wish to hike, there are several trails leading to Little Zigzag Falls. The most common access point is from the Little Zigzag Falls Trailhead, which is located off of Forest Road 2630. The trail is approximately 0.5 miles long and is suitable for most hikers. Be sure to wear appropriate footwear and bring water. The trail may be muddy in places, especially after rain.
