Car
From the nearest major city, Portland, OR, take I-84 E towards The Dalles. After about 40 miles, take exit 16 for US-26 S toward Mt. Hood. Continue on US-26 for approximately 30 miles until you reach the junction with OR-35. Turn right onto OR-35 S and keep driving for about 15 miles. Look for signs that direct you towards Mt. Hood View Point. The viewpoint is located on Unnamed Road in Mt. Hood, OR 97041. Note that parking is available at the viewpoint, and there are no fees to park.

Public Transportation
To reach Mt Hood View Point via public transportation, take the Portland MAX Light Rail to the Gateway Transit Center. From there, board the Mt. Hood Express bus (Route 660) towards Government Camp.
