    If you are traveling by car, start from the town of Moro, Sherman County. Head south on Highway 97 for about 15 miles. Take the exit toward Maupin and follow the signs to the town. Once in Maupin, turn right onto White River Road. Continue on White River Road for approximately 10 miles until you reach White River Falls State Park. Look for the park entrance on your left.

    If you are starting from The Dalles, take Highway 197 south for about 25 miles, then merge onto Highway 97 south. Continue on Highway 97 for about 20 miles, then take the exit toward Maupin. Follow the signs to Maupin, and once there, turn right onto White River Road. Drive for about 10 miles until you arrive at White River Falls State Park, where the entrance will be on your left.

  • Public Transportation

    If you prefer public transportation, check the local bus schedules for the Columbia Gorge Express, which operates between Portland and The Dalles. From The Dalles, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service to Maupin, which is about 30 miles away. Once in Maupin, you can either rent a car or arrange for a taxi to take you to White River Falls State Park, which is about 10 miles from Maupin.
