Getting There

• Car

If you are coming from the south, take I-82 North until you reach exit 182 for US-730. If you are coming from the north, take US-395 South towards Umatilla. Once in Umatilla, follow signs toward McNary Beach Recreation Area. The address is Umatilla, OR 97882. The entrance to McNary Beach Recreation Area is located off of Beach Access Road. There is no entrance fee for the park.

• Public Transportation

  If you prefer public transportation, check with local services such as the Blue Mountain Transit (BMT) for bus schedules that connect to Umatilla. You would take a bus that arrives in Umatilla and then either walk or take a taxi to reach McNary Beach Recreation Area.
