Car Rental
If you're in Skardu, rent a car for the trip to Rakaposhi View Point. Head towards the Gilgit-Skardu Road and follow it for around 3 hours. You will pass through beautiful landscapes and small towns. Once you reach Gilgit, continue towards the Rakaposhi View Point. The view point is approximately 30 kilometers from Gilgit city. Keep an eye out for the signs indicating the view point, which is located near the village of Jutial. Parking is available at the viewpoint.

From Skardu, take a local bus towards Gilgit. The journey takes around 5-6 hours. Once in Gilgit, you can hire a local taxi or shared van for a more affordable option to reach the Rakaposhi View Point. Shared vans typically cost around 500 PKR per person. The ride to the viewpoint from Gilgit takes approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour. Make sure to inform the driver that you're heading to Rakaposhi View Point.
