Getting There

  • Walking

    From Chitral's main bazaar, head west towards the Chitral Fort. Walk along the main road and you will see the fort on your left. Continue walking straight for about 10-15 minutes until you reach the intersection near the Chitral River. At the intersection, turn right and follow the riverbank road. After approximately 5 minutes of walking, you will see the City Monument straight ahead on the other side of the river. Cross the road and make your way towards the monument.

    If you are near the Chitral Museum, exit the museum and turn left. Walk along the road until you reach the main bazaar. From the bazaar, follow the same route mentioned above towards the Chitral Fort, then proceed to the riverbank road to reach the City Monument.

You can ask locals for directions to the Chitral Fort as it is a well-known landmark. From there, continue following the directions towards the City Monument as described above.
