If you are traveling by car, start from Skardu city. Head towards the Skardu Airport and take the road leading to Deosai National Park. Follow the signs for Deosai, and enjoy the scenic drive through the mountainous terrain. The entire journey will take approximately 2-3 hours depending on road conditions. Once you reach the entrance of Deosai National Park, pay the entrance fee (around PKR 500 per person) and proceed to the area of Katpana. From the main Deosai road, take the left turn towards Katpana and follow the signs for Meer Villas Site. It's about 15-20 minutes from the main road.

If you are using public transportation, take a jeep or a local bus from Skardu city to Deosai National Park. There are several local jeep services that operate from Skardu to various points in Deosai. Ensure you communicate to the driver that you want to go to the Katpana area. The fare typically ranges from PKR 300 to PKR 600 per person. Upon reaching Deosai National Park, you may need to hire a local jeep to reach the Meer Villas Site specifically, as it is a bit off the main route. This may cost an additional PKR 1000-2000 for a round trip.
