Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car within Deosai National Park, start from the Deosai National Park entrance near Skardu. Drive towards the main park road, following signs for Rexheer Meadows. The journey is approximately 30 km from the entrance and will take about 1 hour. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for rough terrain, as some sections of the road may be unpaved and bumpy. Once you reach the area around Chonda, look for the coordinates 8FQP+46 on your GPS to navigate directly to Rexheer Meadows.

• Public Transportation

  If you prefer public transportation, you can take a local bus or a hired jeep from Skardu to Deosai National Park. Buses leave regularly from the Skardu bus terminal. Upon arrival at Deosai National Park, you will need to hire a local jeep to reach Rexheer Meadows. The cost for a jeep can vary, but expect to pay around PKR 3000-4000 for a round trip, depending on the negotiation. The jeep will take you directly to the coordinates 8FQP+46 in Chonda, Skardu.

• Walking/Hiking

  For adventurous travelers already within Deosai National Park, consider hiking to Rexheer Meadows. If you are nearby, head southeast towards the coordinates 8FQP+46, which is a scenic route through the meadows. This walk may take approximately 2-3 hours depending on your pace and the trail conditions. Ensure you carry sufficient water and snacks, and wear appropriate hiking gear.
