Walking
Start from the center of Gilgit city, at the main bazaar. Walk towards the main road (Karimabad Road) heading northeast. After about 1 km, you will reach the junction where the Bagrot Valley Road branches off. Look for the signboard directing you to Bagrote Valley. Continue on Bagrot Valley Road for approximately 12 km, passing through beautiful landscapes and local villages. Keep an eye out for local shops to ask for directions if needed. The valley entrance will be on your left, and you can explore the surrounding areas on foot.

Public Transport (Minitaxi or Shared Taxi)
From the main bazaar in Gilgit, locate the minitaxi stand where you can find shared taxis heading towards Bagrote Valley. The fare is usually quite economical, but confirm the price before getting in. The driver will take you along Karimabad Road, and when you reach the junction with Bagrot Valley Road, they will drop you off. From there, it's about a 15-minute walk to the valley itself. Ensure to ask the driver to drop you at the Bagrot Valley Road junction.
