Getting There

Walking
From the center of Gilgit, head to the Gilgit Bus Station located on the main road. Take a shared jeep bound for Ganish or Karimabad. The fare is usually around 300 PKR. The journey will take approximately 1-1.5 hours. Once you reach Ganish, inform the driver you want to go to Ghulkin. The driver will drop you at the junction where a small road leads up to Ghulkin. From there, it's a short 15-20 minute walk uphill to reach Ghulkin Razēàk. Follow the local signs towards Ghulkin.

Alternatively, if you prefer a longer trek, you can start from Gilgit and walk towards the Karakoram Highway. Once you reach the highway, you can walk alongside it towards the north until you get to Ghulkin. This route is approximately 20 kilometers and will take around 5-6 hours of walking. Keep hydrated and take breaks as needed.
