From the center of Gilgit, head south towards the Gilgit River. Walk along the riverbank until you reach the bridge at Karakoram Highway (KKH). Cross the bridge and continue to walk south along KKH for about 45 minutes. Look for signs pointing towards Skardu, as Amburiq Mosque is located in Shigar, which is accessible from this road.
