Getting there

Car

If you're traveling by car, start your journey on the Karakoram Highway (N-35). Drive towards Mansehra, which is approximately 65 kilometers from Abbottabad. Once you reach Mansehra, follow the signs towards Allai. After about 30 kilometers, you will enter the Allai Valley. Continue on this road for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach the village of Allai. From there, follow the local signs directing you to Sharan Waterfall, which is about 5 kilometers away by a smaller road leading into the hills. Be prepared for a potentially rough road, and consider using a high-clearance vehicle if possible.

Public Transportation

For those using public transportation, take a bus or minivan from Abbottabad to Mansehra, which will cost around PKR 200-300. From Mansehra, you can catch a local van heading towards Allai, which will cost approximately PKR 150. Once you arrive in Allai, you will need to hire a local taxi or arrange a ride with a local to reach Sharan Waterfall, as public transportation does not extend to the waterfall itself. Expect to pay around PKR 500-1000 for the taxi ride, which is about a 15-20 minute drive.

Hiking

If you prefer an adventurous route, consider hiking to Sharan Waterfall from Allai. After reaching Allai, you can ask locals for the best hiking trails.
