Car
If you are driving from Peshawar, take the N-35 (M1) highway towards Islamabad, then follow the signs for M-1 towards Swabi. Continue on the M-1 until you reach the intersection for N-45. Take the N-45 towards Lower Dir. Once in Lower Dir, follow local road signs leading to Mayar. The waterfall is located near MVJV+9MH, Mayar, Lower Dir. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for rough terrain as the last stretch may require a four-wheel drive.
Public Transportation
From Peshawar, take a Daewoo Express bus to Timergara. The journey takes approximately 3-4 hours. Once you arrive in Timergara, you can hire a local taxi or use a ride-sharing service to reach Mayar Waterfall. The taxi ride will take about 30-40 minutes and costs around 1000 PKR. Make sure to confirm the price before starting the journey.
Hiking
After reaching Mayar village via car or taxi, you may need to hike approximately 1-2 kilometers to reach the waterfall. The trail is moderately challenging, so wear sturdy footwear and carry water.
