If you are driving from Gilgit, take the N-35 (Karakoram Highway) south towards Hunza Valley. Continue on this road for about 1.5 to 2 hours until you reach Karimabad. From Karimabad, follow the signs to Altit Fort; it is a short drive (about 10 minutes) north from Karimabad. The road is well-marked, and you will find parking available near the fort.

From Gilgit, take a public bus or shared taxi to Karimabad. The journey will take approximately 2 to 3 hours. Once you arrive in Karimabad, you can take a local taxi or walk to Altit Fort, which is about 2 kilometers away. Walking will take around 30 minutes, while a taxi will cost you around 200 PKR (Pakistani Rupees). Make sure to confirm the fare before starting your journey.
