Car
To reach the Toba Kakar Range from Leh, Ladakh, start by heading south on the Leh-Manali Highway (NH 3). Continue for approximately 100 km until you reach the town of Kargil. From Kargil, switch to the NH 1D road and drive towards Skardu. After 80 km, follow the signs to reach the Astore Valley. Continue driving towards the Astore Valley for about 50 km until you reach the junction that leads towards the Toba Kakar Range. The journey will take around 8-10 hours depending on road conditions. Ensure you have a full tank of fuel and carry snacks and water, as services can be scarce.
