Getting There

Car

If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Skardu city. Drive towards the Skardu Airport Road and continue straight for about 20 km until you reach the Shigar Valley junction. Public Transportation (Jeep)

From Skardu, you can also opt for a shared jeep to Askole. Head to the main jeep stand in Skardu, located close to Hussaini Chowk. Shared jeeps usually leave in the morning and can accommodate around 8-10 passengers. The fare to Askole is approximately PKR 2000-2500 per person.
