    If you're traveling by car, start your journey from Skardu, which is approximately 100 kilometers from Khaplu Fort. Head southeast on the Skardu-Khaplu Road (also known as the Khaplu Road) for about 2 hours. The road is well-maintained but may have some rough patches. Keep an eye out for signposts directing you towards Khaplu. Once you reach the Khaplu town area, follow the signs to the fort, which is located at the coordinates 35.1606709, 76.3313143.

    To reach Khaplu Fort using public transportation, you can take a shared jeep from Skardu to Khaplu.
