From Shandur Top, head southeast on the main road towards Chitral. The drive is approximately 38 kilometers and will take about 1 hour. Keep an eye out for road signs directing you towards Zhagi Lake. Once you reach the turn-off to Zhagi Lake, follow the dirt track which is about 5 kilometers long. Be cautious on this road as it can be rough and uneven. Park your car at the designated parking area near the lake.

Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, first take a shared jeep from Shandur Top to Chitral. This journey will take around 1 hour and costs approximately 500 PKR. Upon reaching Chitral, look for another shared jeep heading towards Zhagi Lake or the nearby area. This second leg of your journey may take an additional 30-40 minutes and will cost around 300 PKR. Once you arrive near the lake, you may have to walk a short distance to reach the lake itself.

If you're feeling adventurous, you can opt to hike to Zhagi Lake from Shandur Top. The hike is roughly 5 kilometers and can take about 2-3 hours depending on your pace.
