Car
If you are traveling by car, head towards Kalam Valley from Mingora, the capital of Swat. The most common route is via the Madyan-Kalam Road. Upon reaching Madyan, continue on the road for about 30 kilometers until you arrive in Kalam. From Kalam, take the road towards Matiltan. The road will eventually lead you to the Ushu River tributary. The last stretch to Kalam Glacier is a trek, so ensure your vehicle is parked safely before proceeding on foot.
