Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the central plaza of Chitré, head east on Avenida 8 de noviembre towards Calle 7. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenida Manuel L. A. B. At this point, take a left onto Avenida Manuel L. A. B. Walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Avenida de los Mártires. The Monument of the Flag of Panama will be on your right after approximately 5 minutes of walking.

From Chitré central plaza, locate the bus stop on Avenida 8 de noviembre. Board a bus heading towards Las Tablas or any bus that passes through the main highway. After about 15 minutes, get off at the stop near the roundabout for Avenida de los Mártires. From there, walk approximately 5 minutes to the right down Avenida de los Mártires until you see the Monument of the Flag of Panama.
