Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Soloy. Head southwest on the main road (Route 117) toward the location FWH4+689. Continue for about 15 kilometers until you reach a fork in the road. Take the left fork and follow the signs for Cascada La Tulivieja. The road may be unpaved and bumpy, so drive cautiously. After about 5 more kilometers, you will see a parking area near the waterfall. There may be a small fee for parking, usually around $2.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Cascada La Tulivieja via public transportation, catch a bus or colectivo from the central bus station in Soloy heading towards the direction of La Pintada. Request the driver to drop you off at the closest point to Cascada La Tulivieja. This will usually be near Route 117. The bus fare is approximately $1.50. Once you get off, you may need to walk about 3 kilometers down the road to reach the waterfall. Be prepared for a potentially steep trail, and consider hiring a local guide for assistance, which may cost around $10.

• Walking

  If you find yourself close to Cascada La Tulivieja and wish to walk, ensure you have appropriate footwear and supplies. Starting from the parking area, follow the marked trail leading down to the waterfall. The hike is about 1 kilometer and can take around 30 minutes. The path is well-trodden but can be slippery after rain, so proceed with caution.
