Getting There

Walking
From the center of Portobelo, head towards the waterfront along Calle 3. You will see the beautiful bay on your left side. Continue straight until you reach a fork in the road, then take the left path that leads up the hill. After about 20 minutes of walking, you will come to a small sign indicating the trailhead for Venas Azules. Follow the marked path through the lush greenery for approximately another 30 minutes, and you will arrive at the stunning Venas Azules.

From the main dock in Portobelo, you can hire a local fisherman or a tour boat that offers rides to Venas Azules. Negotiate the price before boarding.
