From the center of Portobelo, head towards the main road, Avenida Central. Follow this road towards the east, passing by local shops and restaurants. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Calle 2. Turn right onto Calle 2 and walk until you see the sign for the Fort of San Lorenzo. Follow the signs indicating the direction to Fort San Lorenzo, which is situated along the coast. Continue on this path, which will eventually lead you to a small dirt road.
