Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Volcan, head south on the main road (Via Volcan) towards the town of San Pablo Viejo. After about 1 km, you will reach a fork; take the left road that leads towards Coquito. Continue walking for approximately 3 km. You will see signs indicating the direction to Cascada Quebrada Cira. Follow these signs, and after another 1 km, you will arrive at the entrance of the waterfall area. The path may be steep and rocky, so be prepared with suitable footwear.

• Public Transport

  From the main bus terminal in Volcan, catch a local bus heading towards San Pablo Viejo. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the stop for Coquito. The bus ride takes about 20-30 minutes. Once you get off the bus, walk approximately 1 km following the signs towards Cascada Quebrada Cira. The last part of the route is a path that may be steep, so ensure you wear appropriate walking shoes.

• Biking

  Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Volcan. Start from the main square and head south on Via Volcan. After about 1 km, take the left fork towards Coquito. Continue for about 3 km on the main road until you see directional signs for Cascada Quebrada Cira. The remaining distance will be a short uphill path leading to the waterfall. Be cautious as some parts of the road may be uneven.
