Getting There

Walking
From the center of Volcan, head south on the main road (Via Volcan) towards the town of San Pablo Viejo. After about 1 km, you will reach a fork; take the left road that leads towards Coquito. Continue walking for approximately 3 km. You will see signs indicating the direction to Cascada Quebrada Cira. Follow these signs, and after another 1 km, you will arrive at the entrance of the waterfall area. The path may be steep and rocky, so be prepared with suitable footwear.

From the main bus terminal in Volcan, catch a local bus heading towards San Pablo Viejo. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the stop for Coquito. The bus ride takes about 20-30 minutes. The last part of the route is a path that may be steep, so ensure you wear appropriate walking shoes.
