Start at the central plaza of Volcán, where you will find local shops and restaurants. From the plaza, head south on Avenida 1ra Sur. Continue on this road until you reach the intersection with Calle 2da Este. Turn left on Calle 2da Este and follow it until you reach the main road (Pan-American Highway). Cross the road carefully. Next, take a bus or a taxi to Boquete, which is about 30 minutes away. Inform the driver to drop you off at the entrance to the San Ramón Waterfall trail located at the 7th N Street in Boquete.

From Volcán, walk to the nearest bus stop on Avenida 1ra Sur. Buses to Boquete leave frequently. Once on the bus, enjoy the scenic ride for approximately 30 minutes. When you arrive in Boquete, ask the driver to drop you off at the entrance to the San Ramón Waterfall trail on 7th N Street. From the bus stop, it is a short walk to the trailhead.
