Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Alotau, head south on the main road until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Magi Highway. Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers; you will pass several local shops and eateries along the way. Keep an eye out for signs indicating Driftwood Resort. You will see the resort on your right side, just before you reach the outskirts of the city.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer to cycle, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Alotau. Start from the town center and head south towards the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Magi Highway. Pedal along the highway for approximately 1.5 kilometers. The resort will be on your right side; look for the sign for Driftwood Resort as you approach.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  To reach Driftwood Resort via public transport, find a local bus that is heading towards Rabe on Magi Highway. Buses typically leave from the main bus station near the center of Alotau. Inform the driver that you want to go to Driftwood Resort. The bus will drop you off near the resort entrance. The ride usually takes around 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic.

  For a more comfortable option, you can take a taxi or use a ride-sharing service. Simply request a ride to 'Driftwood Resort, Rabe, Magi Highway, Alotau.' The driver will take you directly to the resort. The trip should take about 10 minutes from the center of Alotau, depending on traffic conditions.
