Follow the road until you reach R43P+3CF, Pilapila, which will take you directly to the beach entrance. Make sure to check road conditions, as they can vary.

From Kokopo, take a PMV (public motor vehicle) heading towards Rabaul. Ensure to inform the driver you want to stop at Pilapila Beach. The fare is usually around 2-5 Kina. Once you reach the turn-off for Pilapila Beach (approximately 20 kilometers from Kokopo), you may need to walk or arrange for a local taxi or a motorbike to take you the remaining 5 kilometers to the beach. Be prepared for a short walk if needed, as the PMV may not drop you directly at the beach.
