Getting There

Car
From Mount Hagen, drive towards the western highlands. Take the Bypass Road heading south. Continue on this road for approximately 30 minutes. You will pass by several smaller villages and scenic views of the mountains. Look for signs pointing towards Balinga Village. Once you reach the turnoff for Balinga Village, follow the unpaved road for about 10 minutes until you arrive at the village center. Please note that a 4WD vehicle is recommended due to rough terrain.

From Mount Hagen, locate the nearest bus or minibus terminal that offers services to rural areas. Board a bus heading towards the Western Highlands Province.
