If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Mount Wilhelm. Head northeast on the main road towards Goroka. Follow the signs for Goroka; this route is well-marked. Continue driving for about 30 kilometers until you reach the town of Goroka. Once you arrive in Goroka, look for signs directing you to National Day Park. The park is located at W9HR+G42, which should be visible on your GPS. Turn onto the small access road leading to the park entrance. Please note that there may be a small parking fee of approximately PGK 5.

To reach National Day Park using public transportation, first make your way to the Goroka bus station. From Mount Wilhelm, take a local bus or shared taxi heading to Goroka.
