Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a bus from Asunción to Ciudad del Este. The main bus terminal in Asunción is located at Avenida José Asunción Flores. Look for buses heading to Ciudad del Este, which run frequently and take about 5-6 hours. Upon arriving at Ciudad del Este, transfer to a local bus or taxi that goes to Presidente Franco.
