Car
From the Capital District, head towards Route 1 (Ruta 1) and follow the signs for Ciudad del Este. After approximately 30 kilometers, take the exit for Route 6 (Ruta 6) and continue for about 60 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to Isla Yvate. Once you reach the area, follow the local roads to the address: 5000 Borja, Paraguay Isla Yvate PY, 040202. Ensure your vehicle has a GPS for precise navigation.
Public Transportation
Start at the main bus terminal in Asunción. Look for a bus heading to Ciudad del Este or Borja. These buses typically depart every hour. The ride will take around 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive in Borja, you may need to take a taxi or local bus to reach Salto Cristal at 5000 Borja, Paraguay Isla Yvate PY, 040202. Be sure to confirm the fare with the taxi driver or check bus schedules ahead of time.
Taxi
If you're in the Capital District and prefer a more direct route, you can also hire a taxi for the trip. Negotiate a fare with the driver before starting your journey. The cost may vary depending on the exact pickup location, but expect to pay around 150,000 to 200,000 PYG for a one-way trip to Salto Cristal.
