Getting There

    To reach Salto Cristal by car from the Capital District, start by heading south on Av. Eusebio Ayala toward Av. Mariscal López. Continue straight onto Ruta 1 (also known as Ruta Transchaco) and follow the signs for Asunción. After approximately 15 km, take the exit toward Ruta 3. Stay on Ruta 3 for about 20 km until you see signs for Salto Cristal. Turn left onto the access road and follow it for about 5 km to reach the waterfall. Parking is available on-site.

    If you prefer public transportation, begin your journey at the main bus terminal in Asunción. Look for a bus heading to Ciudad del Este, as many of these buses will pass near Salto Cristal.
