Getting There

Car
From the main entrance of Ybycui National Park, head southeast on the main park road for approximately 2 kilometers until you reach the junction. Turn left onto the dirt road leading towards Salto Cristal. Continue on this road for about 5 kilometers. You will see signs indicating the way to Salto Cristal. The parking area is located about 500 meters from the waterfall, and you will need to walk down a well-marked trail to reach the viewpoint.

Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, you can take a bus from Asunción to Ybycui. Once you arrive at Ybycui, hire a local taxi or mototaxi to take you to Salto Cristal. The taxi ride will take about 15-20 minutes and cost approximately 30,000 to 50,000 PYG (Paraguayan Guarani). Make sure to negotiate the fare before starting the journey. The driver will drop you off at the parking area from where you will walk to the waterfall.

Walking
If you are already in the vicinity of Salto Cristal and do not have a vehicle, you can walk from the nearest parking area. After parking, follow the clearly marked trail leading to Salto Cristal. The walk is downhill and takes about 10 minutes. Be cautious on the trail as it can be uneven and slippery.
