Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, start by getting onto I-81 S or I-83 S depending on your current location in Central Pennsylvania. Follow the signs for Harrisburg. Once you reach Harrisburg, take exit 67A for 2nd St toward US-22 W. Continue on 2nd St and turn left onto North St. The Pennsylvania Historical & Museum Commission will be on your right at 300 North St. Parking is available nearby, but please check for any parking fees that may apply.

• Public Transportation - Bus

  To reach the Pennsylvania Historical & Museum Commission by bus, locate the nearest bus station offering service to Harrisburg. You can use the Capital Area Transit (CAT) service, which operates various routes throughout Central Pennsylvania. Board a bus that heads to the Harrisburg Transportation Center. From there, it's a short walk to the museum commission. Head north on Market St toward N 2nd St, then turn left onto N 2nd St and finally turn right onto North St. The museum will be on your right at 300 North St. Be sure to check the CAT schedule for bus fares and times.

• Public Transportation - Train

  If you are coming by train, you can take an Amtrak train to Harrisburg. Upon arrival at the Harrisburg Amtrak station, exit the station and head east on Walnut St toward S 2nd St. Turn left onto S 2nd St and then right onto North St. The Pennsylvania Historical & Museum Commission will be on your right at 300 North St. Train tickets vary in price, so please check Amtrak's website for current fares.
