    Walking

    If you are starting from Gettysburg's town square (Lincoln Square), head southeast on York Street towards the Gettysburg National Cemetery. Continue straight onto Baltimore Street, which will turn into Emmitsburg Road (Route 15). Follow Emmitsburg Road for about 1.5 miles. You will see signs for Gettysburg National Military Park. As you approach, look for the entrance to the park on your left. Continue following the signs, and you will reach Pickett's Charge located within the park area.

    Rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Gettysburg. Start at the town square and head southeast on York Street. Once you reach Baltimore Street, turn right. Follow Baltimore Street until it merges into Emmitsburg Road (Route 15). Continue on Emmitsburg Road for about 1.5 miles, watching for the signs directing you to Gettysburg National Military Park. When you see the entrance on your left, turn into the park, and follow the park roads to Pickett's Charge.
