Walking
If you are starting from the Gettysburg National Military Park Visitor Center, exit the center and head southwest on Taneytown Road (US-15). Continue walking for about half a mile until you reach the intersection with Virginia Monument Circle. Turn right onto Virginia Monument Circle. The Virginia Monument will be on your left after a short walk.

From the Gettysburg town square, head south on Baltimore Street. Continue straight for about 0.6 miles until you reach the junction with Taneytown Road. Turn left onto Taneytown Road and walk for about 0.3 miles. Look for the entrance to Virginia Monument Circle on your right. The monument will be located at the end of the circle.

If you're at the Soldiers' National Cemetery, exit the cemetery and head north on Cemetery Hill. Walk along the path that leads you toward Taneytown Road. Once you reach the road, turn left and walk about 0.4 miles. You will see Virginia Monument Circle on your left. Continue walking until you reach the monument.
Bicycle
If you have rented a bicycle, start from the Gettysburg town square and ride south on Baltimore Street. Continue straight for about 0.6 miles to the intersection with Taneytown Road. Turn left and ride for about 0.3 miles. You will see the entrance to Virginia Monument Circle on your right. Park your bike and walk to the monument.
