Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from the center of Laurel Highlands, head north on US-219 N. After approximately 30 miles, take the exit onto I-70 W toward Pittsburgh. Continue on I-70 W for about 25 miles. Take exit 6A to merge onto I-79 N toward Pittsburgh. After about 6 miles, take exit 59 for McKees Rocks Bridge. Stay on the bridge and follow the signs to US-30 W. Continue on US-30 W for about 3 miles, then take the exit toward West End. Follow the signs for Marlow St, and you will arrive at West End Overlook Park, located at Marlow St, Pittsburgh, PA 15205. Parking is available on-site.

  For those using public transportation, start by taking a bus from the Laurel Highlands area to Pittsburgh. The Westmoreland County Transit Authority offers bus services to the Pittsburgh area. Once in Pittsburgh, transfer to the Port Authority of Allegheny County buses. You can take bus number 21 or 21A from Downtown Pittsburgh to West End. Get off at the stop nearest to Marlow St. From there, it is a short walk to West End Overlook Park. Check the current bus schedules for exact times and routes, as they may vary.
