Public Transit - Bus
From downtown Pittsburgh, walk to the Wood Street Station. Take the Port Authority bus number 1 (the 'Allentown') towards Allentown. Ride for approximately 10 minutes and get off at the North Shore Dr at Allegheny Ave stop. From there, it's a short walk to the Three Rivers Heritage Trail where the Fred Mister Rogers Memorial is located. Just follow the trail signage.
Public Transit - Light Rail
Head to the Station Square light rail station, accessible from downtown. Take the 'T' light rail towards North Shore and ride for about 5 minutes. Get off at the North Side station. From there, follow the signs leading to the Three Rivers Heritage Trail. The Fred Mister Rogers Memorial will be along the trail, just a short walk from the station.
Walking
If you're already in the North Shore area, you can simply walk to the Three Rivers Heritage Trail. Locate the trailhead at the intersection of North Shore Drive and Allegheny Avenue. The Fred Mister Rogers Memorial is located along this trail, which is pedestrian-friendly and well-marked.
Bicycle Rental
You can rent a bike from one of the many bike share stations in downtown Pittsburgh. Once you have your bike, head towards the North Shore via the Fort Duquesne Bridge. After crossing the bridge, follow the signs to the Three Rivers Heritage Trail. The Fred Mister Rogers Memorial is situated along this scenic route.
