Getting There

Bus
If you're starting from downtown Pittsburgh, head to the Wood Street T Station. Take the 'T' light rail towards the North Shore. Get off at the Allegheny Station, which is about a 10-minute ride. Once you exit the station, walk towards the riverfront and turn right on Allegheny Ave. Continue walking straight for about 5 minutes until you reach the Carnegie Science Center at 1 Allegheny Ave.

Walking
If you are in the North Side area, you can walk to Carnegie Science Center. From the Andy Warhol Museum, head northwest on Sandusky St towards the river. Continue straight, crossing the Fort Duquesne Bridge. Once you reach the other side, keep walking along the riverfront path. After you reach the Allegheny River, turn right on Allegheny Ave and walk for about 15 minutes to reach Carnegie Science Center.

Public Transit (Bus)
From Station Square, take the bus number 1 (Killer Bees) or 11 (West Park) from the Station Square bus stop. Ride for approximately 15 minutes and get off at the stop for Allegheny Center. After getting off, walk north on Allegheny Ave for about 7 minutes until you arrive at Carnegie Science Center.

If you're renting a bike in the city, you can ride along the Three Rivers Heritage Trail. Start from the Point State Park and follow the trail along the river. Continue on the path until you reach the area near the Carnegie Science Center. Once you reach the vicinity, follow the signs to the entrance at 1 Allegheny Ave.
