    If you are near the Philadelphia City Hall, walk to the bus stop at 15th St. and John F. Kennedy Blvd. Take the Route 47 bus heading north. Ride for about 20 minutes and get off at the stop on 8th St. and Girard Ave. From there, walk south on 8th St. for two blocks until you reach the intersection with N. 7th St. Turn left onto N. 7th St., and you'll find the Edgar Allan Poe National Historic Site at 532 N 7th St.

    From the 69th Street Terminal, take the Market-Frankford Line (blue line) towards Frankford Transportation Center. Get off at the 8th Street station.
