Public Transit
Start at City Hall Station, which is accessible via the Market-Frankford Line (blue line) or Broad Street Line (orange line). From City Hall, take the Market-Frankford Line westbound towards 69th Street. Get off at 69th Street Station. Transfer to the 108 bus towards the Philadelphia International Airport. Ride the bus for about 15-20 minutes until you reach the 'Hog Island Rd & 2nd St' stop. Once you get off, walk about 10 minutes straight down Hog Island Road to reach Fort Mifflin, located at 6400 Hog Island Rd.
Taxi or Rideshare
If you prefer a more direct route, you can use a taxi or rideshare service like Uber or Lyft. Simply enter 'Fort Mifflin, 6400 Hog Island Rd, Philadelphia, PA 19153' as your destination. This option will take you directly to the fort, but expect to pay a higher fare compared to public transit.
Biking
If you're feeling adventurous, consider biking to Fort Mifflin. You can rent a bike from various bike-sharing services around the city. Start from the Philadelphia Museum of Art and head south on the Schuylkill River Trail. Continue on the trail until you reach the South Philadelphia area. Follow the river to the east and then navigate to Hog Island Road, where you will find Fort Mifflin at 6400 Hog Island Rd. The ride is approximately 7 miles and offers beautiful views of the river.
