Getting There

• Car

  From Piedmont, PA, head southeast on Main St toward PA-31 E. Merge onto PA-31 E and continue for approximately 15 miles until you reach the junction with I-76 E (Pennsylvania Turnpike). Take the I-76 E ramp and continue for about 90 miles. Take exit 18 for I-95 N toward New York City and continue for about 20 miles. Then take exit 22 toward I-295 N. Merge onto I-295 N and continue for approximately 45 miles. Finally, take exit 1B to merge onto I-95 N, then take exit 24 for MA-9 E toward Brookline. Continue on MA-9 E for about 3 miles, then turn left onto Warren St. The Frederick Law Olmsted National Historic Site will be on your left at 99 Warren St, Brookline, MA 02445. Parking is available on-site.

  To reach the Frederick Law Olmsted National Historic Site from Piedmont, start by taking a local bus or taxi to the nearest train station that services Amtrak or regional rail lines. Once at the station, purchase a ticket for a train heading to Boston. After arriving in Boston, transfer to the Green Line subway at the Park Street Station. Take the Green Line 'C' train toward Cleveland Circle and get off at the Washington Square stop. From there, it’s a 10-minute walk to the historic site. Walk southwest on Beacon St toward Washington St, then turn left onto Warren St. The site will be on your right at 99 Warren St, Brookline, MA 02445. Be aware of the fares for the train and subway, which can vary based on time and distance.
