Getting There

Public Transit
If you're starting from the Point State Park, walk east along the riverfront trail towards Commonwealth Place. After about a 10-minute walk, you will reach the Fort Pitt Blockhouse located at 601 Commonwealth Pl, Building C. You will see the Blockhouse as you approach the area.

From the Cultural District, take the 61A or 61B bus from the Liberty Avenue stop. Ride for 5 stops and get off at the Commonwealth Place stop. Walk a short distance east along Commonwealth Place, and you will find the Fort Pitt Blockhouse at 601 Commonwealth Pl, Building C.

If you are near the Heinz History Center, exit the center and head south on 7th Avenue toward Grant Street. Turn left onto Grant Street and continue walking until you reach Commonwealth Place.
