Walking
If you are in the heart of Downtown Pittsburgh, you can easily walk to Mellon Square. Start at the point of interest nearest to you, such as the PPG Place. From PPG Place, head southeast toward 6th Avenue. Once you reach 6th Avenue, turn right and walk along the street for about two blocks. Mellon Square will be on your left, at the intersection of 6th Avenue and Smithfield Street. The park is a raised plaza, so you’ll need to take the steps or ramp leading up from the street level.

Public Transit - Bus
To reach Mellon Square using public transit, locate the nearest bus stop serviced by the Port Authority of Allegheny County. Board a bus that is heading towards Downtown Pittsburgh. You can check the schedules and routes using the Port Authority’s website or app. Once you reach the stop at '6th Ave at Smithfield St', get off the bus.
