Getting There

  • Public Transit - Bus

    If you're starting from downtown Pittsburgh, head to the Wood Street Station. From there, take the Port Authority bus number 1 or 2 towards North Side. After approximately 15 minutes, get off at the 'North Shore' stop. Walk towards the river and cross the Roberto Clemente Bridge. Once you reach the other side, continue straight on Arch Street for about 5 minutes. The National Aviary will be on your left at 700 Arch St.

  • Public Transit - Light Rail

    From the Station Square Light Rail Station, board the 'T' towards North Side. After a 10-minute ride, disembark at the 'North Side' station. From there, walk north on E. General Robinson Street, then take a right onto Arch Street. The National Aviary is located at 700 Arch St, just a short walk from the station.

  • Walking

    If you're nearby in the Strip District, walk towards Liberty Avenue and head north towards the river. Once you reach the riverfront, follow the path along the water until you reach the Roberto Clemente Bridge. Cross the bridge, and upon reaching the North Side, continue straight on Arch Street. The National Aviary will be on your left at 700 Arch St.
