To reach the 1719 Museum at 1849 Hans Herr Dr, Willow Street from central Reading, first take the BARTA bus route 1 from the Reading Terminal. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the 'Lancaster & 5th St' stop. From there, transfer to the route 3 bus heading towards Willow Street. Ride for another 20 minutes and get off at the 'Hans Herr Dr & Willow St' stop. The museum will be a short walk from the bus stop.

If you prefer biking, start from the Reading Public Museum located at 500 Museum Rd. Head south on Museum Rd, then turn left onto the Schuylkill River Trail. Follow the trail for about 7 miles until you reach the intersection with Hans Herr Dr. Turn right onto Hans Herr Dr and continue for about 1 mile to find the 1719 Museum on your left.

For those who enjoy walking, you can start from the Reading Public Library located at 100 S 5th St. Walk south on 5th St until you reach Penn St. Turn left and continue walking until you reach the bus station.
