    From the Reading Public Library located in downtown Reading (100 S 5th St, Reading, PA 19602), head south on S 5th St toward Washington St. Continue straight to stay on S 5th St as it becomes S 6th St. Turn left onto Penn St and walk for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with N 2nd St. Turn right onto N 2nd St and walk straight for about 0.6 miles. Turn left onto Red Bridge Rd and follow it for about 1 mile until you see the Der Distelfink Statue on your right at 1102 Red Bridge Rd.
