If you are starting from downtown Scranton, head north on Adams Avenue. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with North Main Avenue. Turn right onto North Main Avenue and walk for another 0.7 miles. You will see the entrance to Lake Scranton on your left. The walking trail is well-marked and begins just past the entrance.

From the Scranton Transit Center, take the LCTA bus route 5 towards 'North Scranton.' Stay on the bus for about 15 minutes and get off at the stop near North Main Avenue and Lake Scranton. From the bus stop, walk north for about 5 minutes, and you will reach the entrance to the Lake Scranton Walking Trail.

If you have access to a bike, you can start from the Scranton city center. Head north on Lackawanna Avenue, which will turn into North Main Avenue. Continue biking for about 1 mile, and you will see the entrance to Lake Scranton on your left. There are bike racks available at the starting point of the walking trail.
