Depending on your starting point, you may take the I-76 (Pennsylvania Turnpike) or I-81 to I-476 North (the Northeast Extension of the Turnpike). Once you reach the exit for Jim Thorpe, follow the signs to Route 209. Continue on Route 209 until you reach the intersection with Lentz Trail. Turn onto Lentz Trail, and you will find Mauch Chunk Lake Park on your left. Note that there is a small parking fee; check the park's website for current rates.
